Wakefield Schools December BOE Report

The Photo Imaging class is learning how to use Photoshop to create simple animations. Ms. Bergmeier's students are using individual frames in succession to make a holiday animated cartoon. Cool stuff!
Mr. Freeman's Physics students are in the middle of their semester final project. They are researching, diagramming, and building a simple machine that is intentionally designed to perform a simple task in an overly complicated way. In this case, they are being asked to close a textbook. The final product should be pretty crazy!
Wakefield's new counselor, Mrs. Ramirez, goes into each elementary classroom every other week for lessons. Today, she talked to the 5th graders about fixed vs. growth mindsets.
