This week's Bengal Spotlight Featured Team is the Bengal Football team! The CCCMS Football teams have 23 - 7th graders and 11 - 8th graders participating this year. “Our 8th grade numbers are up from 2022.” The 8th graders are working hard and have improved from last year. In their first game against Abilene they scored first and battled to a 6-6 tie well into the 3rd quarter before giving up the lead. Eventually, Abilene won 22-6. “Our 8th grade played really well, we were proud of their effort. Our defense played a real fine football game. The 7th-grade Bengals won 44-20 over Abilene and played very well. We got up early on Abilene and didn’t look back. Defensively we made some adjustments after a couple of Abilene scores and that helped to shut them down. We play at Concordia this week. 7th grade at 4:30 pm and 8th grade to follow.
See attached roster for this year's players.
