The PAWS time given each morning allows students to get organized for their day, engage in a weekly Social-Emotional Learning Lesson, check their grades and academic progress, and have some fun each day! As you can see sometimes Mr. Rickley has a tad more fun than the rest of the class 😂

Hello there! Our eccentric group loves to spend time with each other. We love doing PAWS challenges with other classes, doing PAWS crafts, and enjoying free time on our laptops looking at Pinterest. One of our favorite things to do is challenge other classes to games of Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Sports might not always be our thing, but we are always up for a good challenge!

🏀 IT'S GAME DAY BENGALS!!! 🏀

The Bengal Library has their January Got Caught Reader of the Month!! We love seeing books in the hands of our students!📚

The Bengal Library Annual Pickle Hunt was a success! Congratulations on all the Bengals who found a pickle this year! We hope you can share this tradition with your family and put a smile on the lucky person who finds the Christmas Pickle at your home... Lesson to remember is stop and take in the beauty around you do not be so quick to just win the prize! We hope our Bengals found some Beauty in the Library the same Beauty Mrs. Auld and Mrs. Siemers see in it daily! Happy Holidays

Have a safe winter break! See you in 2024!!

Some of the 7th and 8th graders in choir caroled around the school today 💜

This week our Bengal Spotlight Featured PAWS is Mrs. Pfizenmaiers PAWS. Mrs. Pfizenmaier’s PAWS is a goofy bunch of kiddos that are almost half 7th graders! Like any family, they squabble and joke but come together when something needs to be done. They enjoy PAWS challenges- dodgeball and spoons especially- morning meetings, silent ball, and shenanigans!

Good Luck 7th Grade Lady Bengals today in the NCKL Tournament! If you don't have plans you should come out and watch some amazing basketball games! We will host Rock Creek, Wamego, and Concordia! #bengalstrong

Our 8th-grade students got the privilege to have a whole class field trip today at the Topeka Performing Arts Center. They have made it safely and are settling in to join Clara's adventures with the Nutcracker Prince to defeat the wicked Mouse King! This Christmas ballet performance is steeped in other-worldly fantasy, childlike imagination, and sugarplum dreams. We are excited our students are getting to experience this!

Our Science classes are loving the hands-on learning labs! Below are a few images of 6th-grade students modeling convection for plate tectonics in the science lab. And a few images of 7th-grade students making 3D Cell Projects.
