Each quarter we create a video for staff, parents, and community members who have signed up to be a USD 379 Academic Ambassador. These videos highlight different academic curriculums used in the district and how they impact our kids. (go to usd379.org/academics to sign up)
We decided to share the latest video with the general public. It dives into the district’s 5-year plan to improve reading scores, which is taking place across all grade levels. We wanted to showcase the hard work and dedication ALL staff have put into making sure our students have the best ELA education in the state of Kansas!

We invite you to attend our monthly PEP meeting this coming Monday. During the meeting, we will be discussing the outcomes of our recent school fundraiser. Your participation would be greatly appreciated!

Please remember that today marks the final day of classes before Thanksgiving Break. CCCMS extends warm wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Stay safe and enjoy the holiday.

Today, our "Like a Champion" Call of the Day goes to Brady Frederick! Brady assisted a classmate in catching up with math notes, demonstrating his helpfulness and teamwork. He consistently stays focused during lessons and knows the perfect balance between work and play. Keep embracing the seven habits, Brady—your future is incredibly bright!

Wishing our 7th-grade Lady Bengals the best of luck today at home! They will be playing a single game against Fairbury in the CCCMS Gym, with the tip-off scheduled for 4 PM.

Join us for a spectacular evening concert as the CCCMS Vocal students showcase their talents in the Fall Vocal Concert.

Way to go BENGALS!!! Bengal Battle Wrestling Champs!

Wishing all the wrestlers the best of luck in the BEGAL BATTLE tomorrow morning! Go Bengals!

On National Substitute Appreciation Day, we celebrate and say THANK YOU to our dedicated substitute educators!

Today's Bengal Spotlight Featured Department is Mr. Kelly's PAWS! If Mr. Kelly’s PAWS class isn’t outside on any given morning, then they are probably hanging out inside solving world peace. They are an eclectic group of incredible students. Some of them have had to “endure” their three years of middle school with Mr. Kelly as the PAWS teacher, but they’re confident it won’t affect them too negatively in the long run (therapy bills notwithstanding).
While the physical demands of PAWS challenges may appear daunting, their mental game is par excellence. There are Spoons and Uno state and national champions in this class. Challenging the group to a card game would be done at your own risk.

Every Thursday, Ms. Brown engages her students in a hands-on cooking lesson. This not only allows them to acquire an important life skill but also enables them to prepare a wonderful group meal. It's inspiring to witness their hard work come to life, and the delicious smells wafting through the halls each Thursday are simply amazing!

Good Luck in Concordia Lady Bengals!!

PEP Meeting coming soon...
