
Wednesday, April 2nd announcement- due to flooding in the southern part of the county, country bus routes in those areas will be delayed. All students on those bus routes will not be counted as tardy for their arrival, they will be excused.

The CCCHS National Honors Society sponsored another successful Red Cross blood drive today in the district gym. There were 53 donors today, which was an increase of 9 donors from the previous year. #celebrate379


It's the final sports media day of the year! Ms. McFadden's classes did a great job of promoting all CCCHS sports and activities throughout the year, and her students gained some valuable experience in the media profession at the same time! #celebrate379

Today at the Clay Center Rotary meeting, students in Mrs. Flegler's Ag Business Management class competed in the "Young Entrepreneurship Challenge" sponsored by Grow Clay County. Students created a model of current businesses they are running or ideas that they would like to get off the ground. Each entry was judged, and winners were announced at the end of the meal. Today in Mr. Craig's Ag Science class, students were learning about the phases of estrous (the period of sexual receptivity when a cow stands to be mounted). Think of it as the "birds and the bees" talk in a farmer's terms! #celebrate379
