HALL OF FAME INFO
LAUREATE SELECTION CRITERIA
CCCHS will annually recognize our most esteemed alumni and/or former staff members, whose professional accomplishments, community service, and moral character have earned them respect and provide a positive role model for CCCHS youth. To be considered as a Hall of Fame Larureate, an individual should meet the following criteria:
Laureate should be a CCCHS Alumnus who has been out of school at least 20 years, or deceased - OR - Laureate should be a CCCHS staff member with significant years of service to CCCHS.
Nominations must be received by October 1st. Selections will be made in November.
Laureate must have demonstrated outstanding and exceptional abilities and leadership skills that have made a significant impact on society and/or students. Accomplishments should be of an enduring nature.
Laureate must demonstrate the highest standards of citizenship, exemplary conduct and reputation, and provide an appropriate role model for youth.
Laureate must have achieved a high level of respect, making their community a better place through community and philanthropic service.
HALL OF FAME SELECTION PROCESS
The 12 member selection committee will consist of CCCHS staff and community members, serving on a rotating basis.
Nominations can be made by anyone. However, it is preferred that nominations be made by someone who is a non-family member. Nominations will be solicited through local media and the USD 379 website.
A maximum of 4 people will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in any given year.
Honorees will be recognized in an induction ceremony in connection with the Academic Lettering Program in the spring. In addition, they will be honored on the CCCHS Hall of Fame wall with a plaque, photo, and narrative.
The selection committee has the latitude to make exceptions to the above criteria.
